CRY FOR ME

CRY FOR ME <click for music video>

Ok, this is kinda put together half assed, but I have run out of time and need to shelf the song for awhile. I should have my final edits in tomorrow and will need to shift into writer mode to get EYES to publisher in time for Halloween. I was feeling moody after Roses death and was browsing through some old poems, and I CRY FOR YOU just caught me so I cut it and chopped it and compressed it into a nice little pop western tune. Unfortunately the vocals are unrehearsed, the quality is low for i-net, and I threw a quick music video together to get it up on photobucket. It has lots of room for improvement, but the framework is strong.

CRY FOR ME key of D (for now)

This house is cold and empty
No idle conversation to share
The little things around me
Just make me sit and stare
But when I get to sleep
And meet you in my dreams
I never want to wake up
Cause an empty coffee cup
And a whole lotta bad luck
Is all that waits for me.

(Chorus)
It's Too late to say I love you
Too late to ease your mind
Too late to make you happy
Too late to treat you kind
Now all that's left you see
Is cry for me
Too late to say I need you
Too late to see you smile
Too late to to say I'm sorry
I hope it was worthwhile
Now all that's left you see
Is cry for me

As time goes passing by
Do you still think of me?
The warm and tender loving
Always meant to be
The comfort and the shelter
That I gave to you
The words and little gestures
You know they were all true
The lovin and affection
You were too blind too see

(Chorus)
